Hugh Cornwell is a musician and songwriter, known for being the vocalist and guitarist for the punk group The Stranglers which had over 23 UK top 40 singles and 17 UK top 40 albums. On Thursday 24 November, 6.30-8.30pm, Hugh Cornwell is hosting a free reading and signing of his new novel, Window on the World at the World’s End Bookshop. Hugh tells us about his King's Road.
What’s your earliest memory of the King’s Road?
Going to the World's End pub to play pool.
What are you up to at the moment?
Finishing prep for new album 'Totem & Taboo' and publicising my debut novel, Window on the World. I’m going to be on the King’s Road doing a reading and signing at the World’s End Bookshop on 24 November, all are welcome.
What are you wearing at the moment?
Black.

Fopp in London & K-Mart anywhere in America.
What’s your latest find on King’s Road?
World's End Bookshop. It’s built on the site of The Water Rat where my former band The Stranglers celebrated the release of our debut album Rattus Norvegicus IV.

Gascoyne's in Bath & Bronson Bar in LA.
