As the wedding of the decade continues to excite, the moment fans of the Duchess of Cambridge have been waiting for has finally arrived as her wedding dress goes on public display at Buckingham Palace. The Duchess, who is a huge fan of King’s Road and often spotted by local residents perusing the shops, has new emerged as a new style icon since her wedding to Prince William in April.
Buckingham Palace is facing record demands for its summer opening and is expecting to welcome over half a million visitors through its doors now that the wedding exhibition is open. Amongst items on display are her handmade shoes, the couples beautiful eight tier wedding cake, and the tiara lent to her by the Queen for her special day. The exhibition is running from 23 July – 3 October, 9.30am-6.30pm and tickets are £17.50.
