A creative Japanese restaurant, sushi bar and piano bar, Sushi des Artistes, is now open on Sloane Avenue in Chelsea. Jay Joden, Saito Taka, Ryu Oikawa and Borja Goizueta, a team with 35 years of experience in the dining industry between them, have brought the highly successful Sushi des Artistes restaurant over from Marbella, where its’ imaginative menu has caught the attention of celebrities and celebrated chefs from across the world.
The kitchen is headed by Taka and Oikawa, who have created a Japanese menu with a Mediterranean twist, which includes the quirkily named dishes, "Nothing At All", which is Châteaubriand sashimi with fresh wasabi and "Shall We Dance" which consists of three kinds of foie gras nigiri.
