A new farmers' market is coming to Parsons Green and SW6. Opening on Sunday 25 September at New King's Road primary school, the Parsons Green Farmers' Market will provide a range of produce including organic meats, dairy, plants, flowers, hand made preserves, fresh fruit, herbs, fish, free range eggs and fresh vegetables. Farms at the market will include SJ Taylor free range veal, Chegworth Valley juice and fruit and The Handpicked Shellfish Company.
Cheryl Cohen from London Farmers’ Markets said: “We’re delighted to be welcomed to Parsons Green and to be supported by New Kings Road Primary School in this venture. We look forward to bringing a new community initiative into the neighbourhood, and welcome the opportunity to make new friends.
"New Kings Road is a lovely school, and we hope to include the Green Gardening Group in the market and widen their experiences and understanding of seasonal food and farming."
So put the date in your diary and head down to the farmers' market at the end of this month.
