On the Saturday 29 September, a taste of Manhattan will be available once again 100ft above the mean, clean streets of Kensington, as the highly successful Love Brunch returns for a Saturday afternoon of New York inspired partying at The Roof Gardens.
The Roof Gardens, the largest of its kind in Europe, have been a central London hotspot since they opened in 1933. However, Sir Richard Branson’s ownership of the gardens since 1981 has meant that the hidden gem now oozes style and sophistication with a playful edge, in true Virgin style.
Guests will be able to enjoy the sensational views of the Royal Borough from the fashionable venue, accompanied by the Garden’s distinguished resident DJs, DJ Kayper and Hugo Heathcote, a towering plate of BBQ food and an array of London’s finest party animals, the resident pink flamingos.
The hosts promise “a huge, naughty, and boozy affair with extra portions of fun” and the benefit of being able to get to bed at a reasonable hour. Unfortunately, food and drink are excluded from the £20 tickets; however, the exotic rooftop gardens will probably leave you feeling like you’ve escaped the cold, cloudy skies of Britannia and stepped straight off one of Sir Richard’s very own planes into sunnier climes.
