On your marks, get set, go! The Olympic Torch is coming to London and will be travelling along - you guessed it - the King's Road on Thursday 26 July. The Olympic Torch will start from Chelsea Bridge Road, by Chelsea Embankment, at 1:20pm.
The torch will then travel up Chelsea Bridge Road, crossing Royal Hospital Road to go onto Sloane Square. From there, the torch will be carried along King’s Road passing all the shops. Rounding World's End, the torch will turn off at Gunter Grove, hitting Fulham Road at 1:53pm.
Lord Coe, chair of the London Olympic Games Committee (Locog) said: "The penultimate day of the Olympic Torch Relay is set to include many of London's iconic landmarks which are famous around the world and give the city its special character.
"I hope that the people from these boroughs come out and line the streets to cheer on the torchbearers as the start of the Games draws near."
