With less than 8 weeks to go until Christmas, Duke of York Square in Chelsea will be starting the festive fun by transforming the popular location into a winter wonderland for locals and visitors to enjoy.
On Saturday November 10, Mr. S Claus will be making a special appearance in his grotto from 6pm to meet his young fans, accept Christmas wishes from the Duke of York Square 'magical Christmas post-box' and will even offer one fortunate child the opportunity to turn on the famous Chelsea Christmas lights, from 5.15pm.
The grotto will be accompanied by the family-friend arts and crafts marquee, which is supported by the Princes Foundation for Children and the Arts, and will open at 3pm for both parents and children to enjoy.
Places are free and therefore limited, so it is advised that you book in advance on www.dukeofyorksquare.com from the October 29.
Christmas lights switch on, Satuday November 10. Events start from 3pm. Santa's Christmas Grotto is open on Saturday and Sunday’s from November 10 and from Wednesday through to Sunday’s in December.
Advanced booking is recommended.
