Marta Jonsson boutiques offer exclusive footwear designs from the designer Marta Jonsson. There are currently three boutiques, one in London's Westfield shopping centre, one on the fashionable King's Road and one in the Tunsgate Centre, Guildford. "I was born in shoes” says London-based designer Marta Jonsson. The story doesn’t end there! After developing her passion for shoes in a little boutique shoe shop in Reykjavik, Marta moved to London to follow her dream. To set up her own shoe business. In the years that followed, Marta has designed and supplied shoes for some of the leading footwear retailers across Europe and her shoes have been worn by celebrities, dignitaries and royalty around the world. The love affair continued and now Marta has become one of the few independent footwear designers with a high street presence having launched under her own label, Marta Jonsson. Two beautiful, shiny new boutique stores followed; Westfield in July 2009 followed by Bluewater in December, offering a collection of elegant, feminine, trend-led and high quality shoes, boots and bags, and a stylish men’s collection under the Jonsson label. At the forefront of style and fashion, Marta Jonsson offers beautifully sophisticated shoes that are simply a pleasure to wear. Involved in every step of the process, from design and fitting through to the shop floor Marta has an eternal desire to deliver outstanding design, quality and service and her shoes are created to meet the exacting requirements of busy, fashion-conscious modern women and men. Only the finest leathers are used and every item is exquisitely crafted with love in Portugal to maintain its unique handwriting. This same love is replicated in-store with excellent customer service a number one priority. As Marta says, "It’s all in the little details.” No need for party feet! Following the mantra, ‘look after your feet, and they’ll look after you’ Marta has specially developed ‘Soft in-Step by Marta’, a unique cushioning support fitted to the insole of every shoe. Now women around the world can comfortably wear gorgeous heels all day and every day.
