The season of goodwill is almost upon us and to mark it Card Aid’s annual Christmas card shop, based in Chelsea Library, Old Town Hall has just popped up and opened for business. It's running from now until 23 December.
Card Aid, an initiative of the Charities Advisory Trust, has been helping charities to produce and sell Christmas cards for 30 years. In that time Card Aid has helped raise millions of pounds for charities and charitable causes.
You can choose from a range of Christmas cards - all sold on behalf of 75 different national charities.
Some of the best sellers so far this year have been “London Sights” and “Santa’s Full Monty" - hey up.
Unlike commercial Christmas cards, where as little as 3 per cent goes to charity, Card Aid guarantees that every penny of profits raised goes directly to charity.
Shop opening dates: 17 October - 23 December 2011
Monday/Tuesday/Thursday: 10am – 7pm
Wednesday/Friday/Saturday: 10am – 5:00pm
Sunday: 1pm – 5pm
