Recycling Your Christmas Tree In RBKC

2012 is now in full swing as we wish all our readers here at kingsroad.co.uk a very successful and happy new year. But as you probably would have guessed by looking around the household, the remnants of 2011 are still loitering around: scattered Christmas cards, empty bottles of wine and, of course, the now withering Christmas tree.

So if you're having trouble finding a place to dispose your tree, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Council (RBKC) has set-up its Christmas tree recyling scheme – which will run until 16 January - allowing you to drop off your tree.

The drop off points are: Ifield Road, Cremorne Gardens on Lots Road, The Boltons at the south side of the church, Royal Avenue, Pont Street, and the Denyer Street Depot off Draycott Avenue. You can see a full list of the recycling locations here. The last day is Monday 16 January.

Residents registered for golden waste collection will have their trees collected on the same day as your garden waste, so you don't need to drop them off at the above locations.
