With the Olympic and Paralympic Games approaching, The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) council is urging local businesses to prepare and make sure they keep running smoothly. To help businesses prepare for London 2012, a series of workshops are being held in March and May.
The London 2012 Travel Advice for Business Team are hosting sessions at The Troubadour where local businesses can find out about the impact of the Games. There are also workshops looking at the impact of transport in Earl's Court.
Councillor Warwick Lightfoot, Lead Member for London 2012, said: "It's not only athletes that need to prepare for the Games this summer. Local businesses will need to plan to make sure that they make the most of the opportunities and to ensure that they avoid any disruption as a result to London's roads and public transport system being busier than it usually is in the summer."
