King's Road gets a special visitor next week as Anthropologie welcomes MiH Jeans to its spiritual home. The gallery space inside Anthropologie, is transforming into a MiH Jeans denim store for four weeks, coinciding with this year's London Fashion Week (LFW). The gallery will showcase seven different styles of jeans and new pieces from MiH's Spring 2012 ready to wear Portobello collection.
MiH's association with the KR began in the early 70s when Chloe Lonsdale's father, Tony, launched his first Jean Machine shop.
Tony Lonsdale - known as the ‘Blue Jean King’ - went on to open more than 100 shops throughout the UK with eight on London's Oxford Street at one point.
With jeans in the family, Chloe Lonsdale relaunched MiH Jeans five years ago.
Anthropologie is hosting a preview event on Wednesday 15 February to celebrate the launch. Chloe Lonsdale will be on hand to share her styling tips in a quirky ’70s setting, helping you to find that perfect pair of jeans.
The Gallery, 139 King's Road, London, SW3 4PW. Monday to Saturday 10:00-19:00, Sunday 12:00-18:00, 16 February - 17 March.
